Without a doubt, this trekking among sea, forest and mountain offers the best overview of Ushuaia. This difficult hike offers unique views. We will walk through the meadows along the coast of the Beagle Channel towards west where we’ll see the mythical Darwin Mountain Range offering excellent views of its snowy peaks. On the other side of the channel, the majestic mountains of Hoste Island in Chile rise. For those who are fascinated by ornithology, the proximity of several ecosystems offers the opportunity to observe a great variety of birds: geese, ibis, herons, oyster catchers, andean condors, etc. Along the way, you’ll see horses and foals grazing freely. We’ll stop in a bay at the border with Tierra del Fuego National Park for lunch. After a well-deserved break we will return to Ushuaia. Depending on the trail conditions, it will be possible to take another road for the return.
